Great stuff Mikhayl for porting the mod over to GWX 2.1.
Also great thanks to nautilus42 for creating this harbour.
On a side note Mikhayl did you PM Privater about this being added to GWX 3.0 Gold?
As we talked about in the other thread.

Now I'm crying with joy. One of my dreams has been to see Kiel redone properly. Any plans to add the main base later? It obviously belongs in the hole created for it, instead of out on that point of land. And the misplaced small-boat harbor...NO! I will not beg for more. You know what you're doing, and I can just sit and drool.

Beautiful mod. I don't know if this is a problem but, I didn't get a warning when I installed it to mods and I have AOTD mod installed but none of the others you posted.
Should I just consider myself lucky or what ? :D

Hi Firewall, it's strange, there should have been a warning about a handful of files if you installed "st nazaire" after the "AOTD-AA-bugfix" :hmm:
But as long as it works there's nothing to worry about I guess :D
For the harbour in itself, it's all Nautilus42's work, I just did the adaptation for GWX.
Apparently he has some other harbours on the todo list so when he finishes the next one I'll adapt it as well if need be :yep:
I'm such a noob. :damn:
My thanks to both of you for such a great mod, and will be looking forward to future bases.

Hi Mikhayl and Nautilus42 :sunny:
As per my previous post I must be doing something wromg. :yep:
I put the St. Nazaire mod in jsgme and it shows as data on list.
Sorry I can't get it to screenshot. :damn: I'm not that good with Puter. :D
Here are 2 screenshots. Please excuse how I labeled them.
And again no warning. I also have AOTD bug fix installed first.
Hope you can help. This Mod is so KOOL.

I tried makeing a folder with your mod name and opening your folder and putting the subfolders in it and installing that way but no luck. But at least it has your mod name in jsgme instead of just data.
It doesn't look anything like your screenshots. :damn:

10-30-08, 12:42 PM
Hi Firewall, your folders should be arranged like this :
SH3/MODS/St_Nazaire_Neu_GWX/data/...
I just noticed that in the compressed file there's no "St_Nazaire_NEU_GWX" folder, it goes straight to data. So you have to first create that St Nazaire folder in your SH3/MODS folder, and then drop the content of compressed file in this new folder.
I changed my compression utility and it works slightly differently than before, that's why the mod isn't really "JSGME ready"
Will do. :D I want this mod in my game as I am in 1940 and this is my port.

Thanks BBW, I see you had the "joy" to merge stuff too :rotfl:
I transfered to St Nazaire after my last patrol, it's quite laggy on my PC but looks great.
By the way if someone happens to witness the famous St Nazaire raid, let me know how it goes, I'm guessing it's gonna be a ugly mess
You read my mind
Is it necessary to include, before St.Nazaire files, AOTD-AA-Schip-Schleuse bug fix. It interference with GWX 2.1 Minor fix 26 April. Does GWX minor fix include AOTD-AA-Schip-Schleuse fix files or not?

And sadly for me thats while I'll have to pass on this masterpiece, still cannot get my game to run with that blasted "AOTD-AA-Schip-Schleuse bug fix" and "Community units" its always one or the other:nope:and if I go the bug fix route I have to disable all my mods and start all my careers again or I get CTD'to death....I'm begining to hate this game:cry:....do you think there will be any chance that the new ports and the bugfix will be incorparated already into GWX3GOLD,so I won't have to go through all this:hmm:

The biggest problem with the Community Units?
Improper cloneing.
Most, if not all, were cloned with Pack3D.
Pack3D does not clone reflection and other ID's.
Therfore we see ID conflicts.
And the more units we add,
the worse it becomes.

Hey Mikhayl,
Looking forward to trying this out. I was looking at your mods and wanted to know what the DD_...types...v2 file was?
It looks absolutely amazing
Tell me one thing - when I want enable Nautilus' St Nazaire Harbour I have to enable AOTD AA Ship Schleuse Bugfix before St Nazaire. When I do this I see info from jsgme there is a conflict between GWX 2.1 minor fix 26 April and AOTD AA SSB. Some posts earlier Mikhayl said AOTD AA SSB was simply GWX 2.1 minor fix plus some other fixes in one pack. What should I do to have St Nazaire Harbour working correctly? I think solution sounds like that: GWX 2.1, GWX 2.1 minor fix, AOTD AA SSB and St. Nazaire Harbour at the end. Am I right Kameraden?
AOTD bugfix is not compatible with Wolfhunters u-boat skin.
Also I can not used St. Natzaire Mod.
There are any solutions ? Thank you.

If you have the community ships mod, enable after the AOTD but before the St Nazaire mod.

AOTD
Community Ships
St Nazaire
Can we use this in stock game or will it crash we have a single player campaign that uses this and would be fantastic to use this Harbor mod.?? or is it only GWX 2.1 compatible. I am runningit on my GWX and it is fantastic. How hard is it to mod the Harbors could you elaborate on how you did it. Thanks:up:
It would be fantastic if you can model the other harbors also like Brest, LaRochelle, Kiel, Lorient and others. thanks it is great

Game picks those co ordinates from flotilla cfg IIRC - they need to roughly match the LND co ordinates for the naval base there
They are not matching somewhere even though I made the above 2 sets of co ordinates identical
I had the same but started in the pen also
Not sure where the problem is but will dig around when get a minute

There's 2 flotilla.cfg files.
One is in the data\Menu\cfg\menu folder
And the other is in the Cfg folder
Could this be the problem?
We are not for sure how to put this St Nazaire mod in our campaign. We have someone that has redone the scripeted layers in the campaign and also the LND layers in the campaign. Mostly with historical convoys and such. Now how would we use this mod in our campaign. Would we have to do something in the cfg files. Where are the Location cfg files you talk about in earlier post above. We can't seem to think we can get it to work in our campaign files. Maybe you could enlighten us on this a little more. thanks

Hello everybody (again):
Long time without posting. Long time without SH3, long time without good moments. :yep:
While seeing what's new around here, I found this great mod among many others, and I am dying to try it. However, I have a question about this mod: can this be enabled on top of the Brunsbuetel-Holtenau mod? Let's hope so. Any suggestions will be welcome.
Anyway, a biiig hug to all.
CapZap
It should work fine....I've got it installed after mine without any problems.

Now GWX 3.0 is out, is there anything in the way of new install procedures you need to follow to get the lovely new St Nazaire in the game?

Nice to see people making the bases look really good. I've been re-assigned to Brest and one thing which made me think, was that I think that my copy of the game seemed to model the sub-pens somewhat further to the NE that what they were, just opposite the NE part of the breakwater :hmmm:
BUT it could be me that has it wrong..... :shifty:
