[REL] Reworked RHN Georgios AVEROF (Greek Pisa class armored cruiser)

Hi everyone!
While finishing RMS Laconia beta tests, i'm happy to release this small work, an "improved" (i think ^_^) version of Georgios Averof, with new funnels, pipes, reworked command deck and guns position. I've also increased the width of the original model, following blueprints.

Special thanks to Von Helsching for original SH3 Averof model, and Dimitris for another model, that i've used for funnels, command deck and pipes.
Most of this work has been done by this two men.
I've only mixed their models, with their permission. Thanks!!

Would be nice if somebody would add proper turrets for her too. Or may be as she will hardly see any gunfight in the game, just fake 3d objects to add on deck making her more authentic in appearance?

In the other 3D model of the picture above, it seems that the guns are closer to the real ship. I don't know if the guns here are compact with the ship or separate entry like SH3, so my question is:

Is it possible to use these turrets in the SH3 model?

I think the link to the guns is in the *.eqp file. The links refer somewhere in the library. If you add the guns of DIMITRI'S model to the library as a new entry and change the link name in the *.eqp file accordingly the new guns will appear. This means that in the release should be an additional file for library. But this is all my knowledge on this matter:rotfl:.

Anyway we will enjoy you model as all of your rest models!

May be you made in base Helenik cruiser new unit - italian armoured cruiser "San Giorgio"? Ship near similar helenik cruiser.

Старый броненосный крейсер, участвовавший еще в итало-турецкой и Первой мировой войнах. До середины 1930-х использовался в качестве учебного корабля. В 1937 — 1938 гг. прошел модернизацию на верфи в Специи (Спец) и превращен в корабль береговой обороны. Котлы переведены с угольного отопления на нефтяное, их общее число сокращено с 14 до 8, из 4 дымовых труб оставлено 2, получившие защитные колпаки. Увеличены размеры носовой надстройки. Главная артиллерия осталась без изменений, зато полностью обновилось зенитное вооружение. Вся малокалиберная артиллерия снята (как и ТА), а ее место заняли 4x2 100-мм/47 зен. установки и 2 х 2 13,2-мм пулеметы.
В начале 1940 г. зенитное вооружение еще усилено. Число 100-мм/47 орудий увеличено до 10,13,2-мм пулеметов—до 14. Дополнительно установлены 20-мм/65 автоматы. Превращенный в своеобразную плавбатарею ПВО корабль переведен в Тобрук.
Тяжело поврежден в Тобруке 22.1.1941 англ, палубной авиацией с авианосца «Eagle». Затоплен экипажем на мелководье.
Примечание: однотипный КР «San Marco» в 1931 — 1935 гг. переоборудован в радиоуправляемый корабль-мишень для подготовки артиллеристов (8600/8966 т, 13 000 л.с., 18 узл.), в сентябре 1943 г. захвачен герм, войсками. Затоплен ими в Специи в 1944 г."

In facts they appear really similar. Funnels are a little different, but gun configuration is really near.
