view mod and AL subs?

hi all just two things WERE can you download that mod for sh4 that lets you walk free outside and inside the the sub and in the conning tower of the german subs? i can not seem to find it! also can you just download AL subs for sh4 [no crew]:hmm:

What about pressing shift + F2 at the same time and then use the cursor arrows?

Unfortunately, the one mod that had the camera views by itself is no longer supported, and I believe it was before the Uboat expansion. Since then, it has been implemented into a couple of the super mods, which kinda sucks if you don't want all those other changes.

I spent quite a bit of time extracting the view mod out of those other mods so I could use it without all the other stuff and had about 99% success. About the only problem with it is that the radar views are kinda funky, but everything else works great. I'll see if I can't upload it for ya when I get home tonight. :up:

Just remember, I didn't make this mod, I just extracted it and from one or more of the supermods and played around with it so I wouldn't have to have all the other changes as well. Nothing wrong with the supermods, just not my cup of tea....

Here's the readme:

These are the camera files I've been using for a while now. I extracted them from either Trigger Maru, or Pacific Environments, or maybe Real Fleet Boat, I just don't remember. Took me a long time to do it though. I just didn't want all those other changes, just the camera mod itself, but couldn't find an updated version anywhere. I believe they all came from the same modder originally - LeoVampire, who passed away not too long ago.

Anyways, everything works except in the radar station, the controls are kinda funky and you can't use End or Home to twirl the radar focus around, cause for some reason they are linked to moving the camera up and down. I never could figure out how to fix that little bit up without borking the entire file. There are two folders, one is for the american subs, and the other is for the german subs. Just activate whichever one matches the country you will be playing as. You obviously can't activate both at the same time.
