SH3 GWX 2.0 Need help!!!

My system crashed last month and I had to reload every thing. I originally had a downloaded copy of SH3 purchased from Ubisoft which after loading the patches loaded GWX and played upto the 12th mission when I lost everythind. I then went and purchaced SH3 V 1.0 and loaded the disc and then upgraded each patch to the 1.4b. The game played perfectly, however when I loaded GWX to the disc I lost the ships trails (tails) denoting their heading. I immediately uninstalled everything and started all over again checking to make sure the disc with patches was functioning prior to trying to downloading and installing GWX. I've done this going on the ninth attempt with the same result. I tried downloading the torrent copy, downloaded from GameShadow (5 times), Fileplanet (3 times). If someone could tell me what I seem to doing wrong I would greatly appreciate it. I even followed the guidance from this forum, deleting the SH3 file from my documents before downloading. Last night I downloaded again and seem results no trail (tail)..:damn: Please HELP!!!! JC

JC relax already.
2.* removes them as a feature by default. If you want them back you'll need the GWX2.0GreyTails installed via JSGME.

Please, read the GWX2.0 Manual inside SH3/Documentation folder to see the changes to SH3 stock.. Look for p95 at Realism.
