The observation scope in the command room in GWX... is it possible to animate it so that it will rise and lower as you push the insert or delete keys?

You use the PageUp and PageDown buttons to raise or lower the periscope.

Oops, I refered to the periscope. I think you have to selectthe oversvation scope by Pressing O first and then use the keys you mentioned.

Page Up and Page Down raise and lower the attack scope. Insert and Delete raise and lower the observation scope. This is why occassionally someone will complain that he can hear the scope going up and down but nothing happens in the periscope view. He's looking through the wrong scope.
But that's not what GoldenRivet was asking. He wanted to know whether when you raise or lower the observation scope while looking at it from the Control Room an animation could be created that would let you see it go up and down, as with SH4.

 Sorry, I misread this post. My apologies. I didn't even know, you could do that. O well, we are all still learning

AFAIK it is possible.
It was considered for GWX2.1 but we ran out of time.

SH4 is the order of the day for the Grey Wolves.
Should DD decide to spend time on this?
It's his choice.
But it all comes down to time!
If We are to complete the work for SH4?
Where do We get the time to fix stuff in SH3?
There's a lot of Modders here that could do this.
(Or so they say)
My day went from joyous to the worst sadness I could suffer.
So if I'm out of line?
I hope you can understand and forgive me.
I hope all is well Privateer.

Speaking of which, how's things going on SH4 side, Mr. Privateer?
I bet its a lot of fun, since you guys are working with new possibilities.
A brand new world ahead, for gwx 3.0 (or 4.0)
It's kinda of a dumb question, but the first version won't be ready this year, right?
A lot of work, I bet...
If you guys need any hand with sound, I'd be glad to help!

And if the work on SH4 goes well, SH3 will become superfluous. And redundant.:sunny:

To play the next version of GWX (based on the SH4 engine) you will most definitely need a copy of SH4
