View Full Version : of clippers and zeppelins, a question, convoys and wings

Hello

I have added a clipper to the roster of ships,,one issue,sometimes they are in convoys, As far as I can tell, they NEVER convoyed, impossible due to winds

Is there a way in the dat file to tell a vessel never to convoy?

same with zeppelins,, they scouted alone, yet sometimes I see a wing (staffle ) of zepps go by on patrol, can it be stopped too?

Its because they are designated as the wrong types ( type= in both cfg files )

Make your clipper a type=104 and will only show around coastal areas
Am guessing now its a 102 which most convoys are made up of

The airship is a bit more difficult
I guess you are adding generic entries for then in an rnd group ?
Or have added them to an airbase

In GWX I created an airship airbase so the airships only spawned form where they were placed
Try not to use generic groups for rnd aircraft either

What is your airship designated as ?
