Sub Marker in 3d views

alright, i hate to be a bother, but i despise the sub marker above your submarine in free view:nope: i always hit the Ctrl+Del to remove it. what file do I delete to make it go away permanently?

I think it's located in the "Silent Hunter 4/data/misc" folder, can't quite remember, I deleted ages ago
