On August 21, 1968, the Soviet Union and its Warsaw Pact allies sent 200,000 troops into Czechoslovakia to wipe out the democratic reforms of Alexander Dubcek.

This would actually be a proposition, rather than a look back. If the US and Russia both spent as much time and effort furthering the progress of the rest of the world as they spend posturing and bickering with the rest of the world, we'd all be better off. What's been done is done and can't be changed, why don't we move forward?
