Can anyone direct me to the Alberich skin mod,I saw it the other day and forgot exactly where now :damn:
Having just installed it on my boat I would love to see it on my next patrol.

Thanks in advance

Thats the one jim
I reckon, that is probably as accurate as you are ever going to get,to achieve a rubber-like effect for the skin.An excellent effort in my opinion.
I read once that only a small handful of boats had this new coating installed, which baffles me actually, because anything that absorbs at least SOME of the sonar ping is a good thing.Maybe it was too expensive to install for all the boats,or not practical due to the fact that Doenitz demanded an ever increasing number of boats for the Atlantic, and installing it for ALL of them would have slowed his production deadline down?.Actually,I may have read it somewhere in one of my own books 'Iron Coffins' , a great book.
Anyway,cheers for that matey

I would guess it was expensive.
Anything rubbery was in very, very high demand.

Jim,
You know the Alberich mod,is it ok to install using a default version of SHIII,with the 1.4 patch of course?,it shouldnt cause any problems should it?,and would the best time to do it be before a new patrol?.I cant imagine it would work right mid patrol :hmm:

Cheers.

Not sure mate, don't use it myself at present.

Install it via JSGME and if it causes problems you can take it out without any lasting negative effect on your game installation.
