New to GWX...please help!!

First off, thanks for the wonderful mod.

My first question is when I start a patrol in august I'm told to run a 5 day shakedown patrol and new orders will arrive on the 4th. I complete my patrol area and No new orders. When I do return to base I'm given the same mission. Am I too continue these mission through August til the 4th of September or am I missing something??

Second off do the Green Map contacts mean neutral or axis?? Or do ALL contacts show up as green and I have to look at the flag to verify it is a country belonging to the Allied power?

Last off do most of you guys actully sail back to harbor or just hit the quick return??

Any help will be appreciated, and thanks in advance.

Green is neutral also for England the war have not started yet, you have the time to go in August everywhere without being attacked and take a good position somewhere on the 3 september
You can also set days spend in harbor whit SH III commander

Unless you've added a mod over the top of GWX, all contacts should be dark grey or black.

Otherwise, given your description, it seems you may have a problem with your GWX installation causing it to be incomplete.

If you have the GWX Color Contacts option enabled with JSGME then there's no need for you to reinstall as you should be seeing red, green & blue contacts with that mod. If you want to go back to GWX's dark grey contacts just disable the Color Contacts in JSGME. Don't enable or disable mods while at sea though as it can trigger a ctd (crash to desktop).

I was dredding a reinstall, although I did finally get around to burning my mods to a dvd so if I do HAVE to, no more looking for them all again!
