The times have been shortened to about 80 mins ingame time to be on station of patrol area. Couldnt find the original mod so I made a new one. it is JGSE ready for US side of the campaigns. Works in v1.5 should also work in v1.4 since it only does the US side.

i understand the idea behind wanting shorter times on station to speed up the game and all but i think your missing the point of why the times were set that way. its supposed to mimic a realistic order to patrol area "x" for 24 or 48 hours as it would be representative of a real mission and will allow enough time to pass for random occurances in the game to give you a unique experience each time.
you can simply stay in one spot and use time compression to zip thru the time if you want quicker action and you wouldnt need to change anything.

Wasnt missing the point at all. What was going on is that not going out of that small patrol area to go after semi nearby targets then going back only having to wait another 24-48 hours. This really only triggers the completion of the patrol time limit, You can always still stay in the area as long as you like.

oh ok, but why didnt you make the patrol area bigger instead of reducing the time?
i always thought the patrol areas were too small as well but staying in the area for that time period felt right.

Using your brain vs using a coin? I'm glad you let the smarter chunk of metal decide. :nope:

Not everyone's cup of tea but I'm sure for some is a worthwhile mod.

If anything, I've always felt the patrols should be longer. I mean, some of them, it takes nearly a week to get on station, and you leave after two days?
