found some problems, 1. even though the ship turns the rudder doesnt, 2. the middle prop is missing, and the brigde crew is stand half way through the bridge.

so how can i change it? i also had a problem w/ the campagin, when i go to drop of the supplies at the begining of a patrol it wont let me drop them off, i sat at the port for 2 days and nothing, it kept saying reach port and drop off supplies

Wow, Great work m8!:up: Finally my most favorite WWII battleship is playable!:) I was going to try the Bismarck out. I'll have a look into that and make a micropatch 2 that increases ammunition on AA guns a lot, donno how much i should add to main and secondary armaments though. Taking ideas.

Now I modified the BISMARCK 1.1 to 1.2

New:

Working rudders and propellers!
+ I add the flag to stern(over).

If the diveplanes are set to 0 or so, even ordering a dive/crash dive shouldnt have any effect. Along with the effect of the ballast tanks set to 0, they shouldnt fill at all when ordered to dive.

Some other ship mods have had this problem that you can dive with it and become a underwater submarine battleship or so. But im not sure with this mod, might aswell give it a try..Though after that try i doubt im coming back up :rotfl:

Hi! Yes, it is possible, but you must save original file UPCDataGE/UPCCrewData and if you want play a "Bismarck mod" you must "switch" between UPCDataGE (op mon) and UPCDataGE (Bism mod). If you want, I'll can send you this file by e-mail.

I love the ship, but for some reason I seem to be missing some of the textures for the guns. Of the main armament only the player controllable gun has textures, also the secondary armament guns are missing textures. I also had the same problem on some of Karle94's ships. Anyone know where can I get the missing textures?

i had installed the yamato but i removed him and still the same

i was working in the dat file but that was not a good idea :D

i install the files and for some strange reason the bismarck is barely above the water, all i can see is parts of the deck and the conning tower. also the texture is a mix of black and grey no real pattern at all. and i cant choose to play with it in campain, what do i do?

there is another problem with bismarck....i started a quickmission with her and after 2 hits the whole ship exploded!!!!! what is going on here? and without any mods active....please help or tell me what to find another kms bismark

Works only on stock 1.5 with no other playable ships and/or mods that changes the Weapon.upc and/or UpgradePacks.upc. Please state the mods you are using.

This is a wonderful ship, I went to Californa with shipsunk 27 ships left one alive sunk 3 outside the harbor. FYI dont go around pearlharbor almost no ships beside some light destroyers mainly aircraft.

Hi folks! I know this thread is a tad old but I was wondering if theres any update for the bismarck to work in operation monsun mod? The ship is great and works fine in stock SH4, but as someone said earlier, its just too odd sailing it in the indian ocean. It would be awesome to get it to work in the atlantic campaign.

I tried to do that myself with a little file editing, and the ship is selectable and playable in the campaign, but there are problems with it, the main guns are missing and the ship is almost devoid of crewmembers, among other things. The crew can be recruited at base but I'm more worried about the guns and other problems.

Has anyone uploaded an OM compatible version? If so, can someone give me a link to it? Otherwise, I was hoping that someone could instruct me on how to edit it to make it playable in OM. :)

It's either that or indestructible. Never have I found an SH4 player damage model that can accurately model damage on anything other then a sub.

I do not know which is best, if either is...

The "Search" on the Download page generally gets you good hits, and if you're looking for something specific, you can use a regular web search engine, and start the search term(s) with "site:subsim.com/radioromm your search terms", which works better than the regular Search here does...
