As you can see... there is a TERMOMETER in our Uboat..??

any explanation??

maybe Ubisoft planned to make it, but never put in the game (it doesn't exist in Dials file..)

I'm not positive about this, but I am pretty sure...

This "thermometer" is actually a shallow depth gauge. You can see it in the command room in the center of all the controls, it is right next to a very similar gauge that measures the trim of the boat. Both these gauges are tall vertical ones, similar in appearance to a giant thermometer, hence the name.

This gauge was used by the Chief to assist in keeping the boat at periscope depth. Very useful. Supposedly it was accurate within 3 inches or so.:|\\

Err, No. Pretty sure it isn't, they are both elsewhere in the CR dat. Their 3d model is recognisably different from the thermometer's ..... which hardly merits the description at all!!

It's only a wild guess, but from the position in the file, I think it may have been something the devs intended to put down at the rear end of the CR ....somewhere around the compressors.

There's an awful lot of unfinished dials and things in that area.
