Nice job on the map and something that will be useful in trying to hunt down convoys. I noticed that there is some text that bled through from the back page on the map you copied. It can be eliminated in the future by placing a sheet of black paper behind the map (or printed page, photograph, etc.) during the scanning process (or photographic or copier process). The black sheet will absorb the printing from the other side of the page caused by light reflecting back through the paper you are copying and make results cleaner. Thanks for sharing!

Now there is a common sense approach to a problem. No need to go in and clutter up the sim's UI anymore than needed...just print a good old fashioned hard copy and tack it on the wall.
Great idea!
CAUTION!! This mod caused me problems. I installed it using JSGME over TMO for 1.5 while my career was in port and I had exited the game. When I tried to load the game an error message appeared saying a file was missing or corrupted. I unloaded the mod using JSGME but when I tried to delete it I got an error message saying it was being used by another program and couldn't be deleted. I then unloaded TMO and tried deleting again. Same message. I then reinstalled TMO and started the game. I got back into the 'office' okay and started the next mission okay, so I guess the game is alright. I still can't delete it from JSGME though.

Close JSGME and the reopen it on next boot, you should then be able to delete it. JSGME is the program using the folder during the install and uninstall and windows XP and Vista have a known issue of not releasing docs and resources after they are closed for awhile.

Edit* I just went and looked at TMO, and noticed this:
22.) What happened to my Gramophone?
The gramophone has been altered to include a speed/range chart. Its a very handy tool for intercepting contacts. Unfortunatly theres some monitor/display aspect ratio that does not like this modfiication (wide screen users i beleive). For this reason, a stock gramophone modlet has been included in the support directory.
This mod uses the Gramophone for it's basis so the two would not be compatible unless you are willing to loose the speed/range chart.

HE..he...he...Welcome to the club mate. That is why the hard printed copy hangs on the bulkhead...but it wasn't exactly this mod. This is an image only of the map from that mod.
See:

for the mod I believe.

Ok --errr, Banjo I mean--,
I installed TMO and went through it for you. This should do the trick for ya. There are 2 files and a pdf included in the zip file. unzip anywhere, read the pdf, and the go from there. It should work fine for you as I set it up for JSGME, but if not just post and I'll take a look again.
Here's a SS of TMO and MAPS. Click on image for larger image.

Phrozin,
Thanks for all yer help...
I only upload about once or twice a year.
I like what you did for the Map and speed thingy..
I'm going to have jimimadrid look in to using a different button than the "Gramophone"
This way I won't be messing up other mods.

Oh, not a problem, I had just used the original mod 2 days ago, so all the stuff was still fresh in my mind So i just did the same for yours. The speed /range estimator is not mine though, I just super-imposed the range estimator from TMO onto your map so those that were using TMO would not loose the existing estimator.
I take no credit for any of the work here, I just tried to get it to work together easily. I don't think you'll be able to use anything except the gramophone. as I understand it the community has not figured out how to create a new instance of a movable window in SH IV. So for now, this looks to be the only way to achieve your goal.

Phrozin,
Thanks, I'll take a look at it. I probably won't re-install the mod though. It's not a mod I have to have, and once I have a problem with an install I pretty much abandon it. Not worth the blood pressure raise.:damn:
Forgot to add--I have that map printed out anyway.
