Someone put up a mod once that enables the swastika flag for your sub at the time it was for the VII boats only. Can anyone point me to the download link if its still available.

I can't remember what the mod was called. Will check out racerboys flag mod its probably the one I'm looking for. Thanks:up:

no, didn't ride today :huh: Too busy working on water drains for VIIb. Got the whole front done. If it had a hole it nows drains. Ok, that sounded bad :o
Flag mod is being redone so that it can be used with GWX 2.1. It's funny because I started rewriting it and I was like why did I do that? Why did I put this node in there? I really cleaned it up so far :doh: VIIb is done currently.

Now my boat is complete and ready.:)

I'm running GWX 1.1a, i can't find the gwx2 download i burned to dvd for safe keeping :damn: So have to stick with gwx 1.1a for the time being. Found your gwx1.4 flagmod and it works with this version of gwx. :up:

you can change each flag btw. The thought was to be able to have the nation's flag and a personal (captain's) flag. Raise your pennants! Raise the front scope all the way up and press the 'x' key....up will come the pennants :up:

So whats the historical background to u-boat flags?
Did they have them flying during a patrol or only when leaving from and returning to port.
I imagine it depended on the Captain but does anyone have any info?

Almost certainly only when near a port. It serves no purpose while on patrol, and if you have to dive in a hurry it's just one more thing to worry about.
