With the U-Boot addon adding Germany as playable nation, I wonder whether it is now possible to add playable nations ourselves by "cloning", as it were, the necessary files. For instance, the U-Boot addon added a "Campaigns GE" folder. Logic would therefore dictate that for Japan a "Campaigns JP" folder would have to be created- plus of course all the other "Xxxxx GE" folders would have to have "Xxxxx JP" folders, and of course their contents. The same would apply to creating other nations- the UK (GB), Netherlands (NL).
It is a thought that just occurred to me- any ideas regarding the feasibility, or perhaps somebody has already started the work????????

So in a nutshell, that would mean creating separate mod folders named "IJN", "RN", "RNethN" with all the relevant files (but named "Campaings GE" or "Campaigns" etc), and activating it using JSGME as required.

Here is a thought and I may be way out of line, clone either nations folder, German or American. Within that clone, change what you need to represent the nation you want. Correct the change sides to show 3 nations to choose from. I guess all the folders would require a name change as well. Sounds like a lot of work and not sure if that could be done. Just a thought.

I think the hardest part would be doing proper recordings for the voices, especially the Japanese.

I'd start with the japs (not me personally ;) ) as we have manysub types and Peabody's writing a campaign ?
