Interesting choice of a word.
:hmm:
"Der gute Kamerad" ("The good Comrade"), also known as "I had a comrade", is a traditional lament (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lament) of the German Armed Forces (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/German_Armed_Forces). The text was written by the German poet Ludwig Uhland (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ludwig_Uhland) in 1809 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1809). In 1825 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1825), the composer Friedrich Silcher (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Friedrich_Silcher) set it to music. "The Good Comrade" plays an important ceremonial role in the German Armed Forces and is an integral part of a military funeral (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Military_funeral).
