Can't run Mods

I can't seem to run any mods. I've got SH4 patched to 1.4.
I've installed JSGME and Trigger Maru. Trigger Maru is in the Activated mods box.
But the game still runs the stock version.
I've tried reinstalling, different versions of TMO and still it won't work.
Any ideas?
Also, when I start the game I get the auto patch box come up every time even though it's patched to 1.4.

When I had Windows Vista and the game not installed on the main harddrive partition C:/, the mods don't work too.
But I gues you haven't Vista?

I'm running XP.
Just tried to activate the mod again and it's working now.Don't know what I was doing wrong before.

I have Vista (64bit) and installed SH4 on my third (!) hard drive. All mods work just fine. Therefore I guess that it is not related to the OS.

I have Vista too (32bit) and installed on e:\ No problems so far.
