making XXI available at 1942 - how to??

The Type XXI is a cumbersome boat! Sure it can dive deeper and go faster underwater but you can achieve more in a Type VII or II. That's where the action is!:yep:

If you use GWX 2.1 with SH3Commander, you could skip that all and go ahead to 1944 in the 11th Flotilla! That should get you in the fight in a XXI!;)

Well, there sure is a possibility to mod that: on www.cheats.de, i found an unlocker, and it works!
But: I tested it with a clean installation without gwx. This unlocker works by simply overwriting the original flotilla.cfg and basic.cfg by the ones included in the unlocker.zip file...

And here's the problem, by doing so, i get the XXI, but all the GWX changes on the two files are resettet.

I tried to simply read out the changes on the cfgs referring to the XXI, but I didn't get very far by that. In fact, NOTHING happend...:damn:

If you're interested on that files, search in www.cheats.de in the "PC Spiele" category for SH III. There you'll find the unlocker.

For sure, look at the main loading screen left, top corner.
