CTD with Type XXI

I was wondering how difficult to be a u-boat was it late in the war. So I want to try a Type XXI career. And as it was loading, the progress bar is at 90%... it's almost ready! Then, CTD! I can't believe it, so I removed some of the non-essential mods and tried again... the same result! I'm using GWX2.1 with these mods enabled:

Skip intro movies
Rollback automatically
Simulate transfers
Random number of days in base
Use real ships names in logs
Show hull integrity
w/Patrol Log Editor ...and these SysReq:
P4 2.0 GHz
1024 Mb RAM
GeForce FX5500 256 RAM
Seagate ST380021 Hard Drive
Could someone help me?

Edit: Never had any problems with Types II, VII and IX. - all variants

What eror message on CTD ?

When the pop up appears after CTD click on the blue text " click here "

I wish that error message came up because it didn't!:damn:

The progress bar is at 90% and poof! I crashed back to my desktop without any warning or any kind of any new window popping out!:damn:

To get those error reports, you'll have to enable Windows Error Reporting.

You can enable it from the System Properties tab within control panel.

System Properties > Advanced > Error Reporting (in XP).

I checked it out and it looks enabled.:huh:

Maybe my rig's not up to par with running a Type XXI career.:(

I assume this is during campaign load not the initial game load? if this is so try going to the museum & view the XXI.:yep:

Now the problem is surviving in a XXI in 1944!:rotfl::dead:
