Clock sound on Hydrophones

Be it a quick search....but I have not found anything on the subject of removing the "tick tock" clock sound when on the Hydrophone screen....the extra noise is annoying when trying to listen for contacts....let alone that fact that the sonartech would not being hearing that with his head phones on right?? Is there a mod or quick fix to make this sound go away?

hiya m8 there is the silent hydrophone mod that i use makes every thing quiet as a mouse its on here somewhere not sure where thought

Capt. Lehmann posted a mod about six to nine months ago, which had a silent amb_hydrophone sound file.

Any silent sound file substituted for the offensive sound file will do. Just rename the silent file to the name of the offensive file, and copy and paste to the SH3 sound folder. Be sure to make backups first.

In the sounds folder there is a clock.wav file, if you delete or rename that file no more clock sound...
