I've played first person shooters. After emptying my weapon's clip, I reload. The same with the deck and flak guns. But there is one BIG difference between the two!:|\\

No clanging of the 88/105mm round as it enters the breach. No clanging between clip and the receiver of the flak guns.:shifty:

For realism's sake, is there any mod for this?:hmm:

Hi,

I am certainly no Mod expert (not even remotely! :nope: )

But, I would think one way would be to import a sound byte from another game and just overwrite or create the file to coincide with loading of the deck gun.

I am sure someone will come back with a much better answer, but that's what I would try.

One sound byte you might want to try is from "Panzer Commander". It had some great sounds for the shells falling to the metal floor in the tank and then the reload and clanging sound of the breech being closed etc.

Not aware of anybody undertaking work on such a mod.

If you're talking about P09_$Gun_muzzle_flash, I have a sound, where you hear the used shell fall out and land on the deck, which gives a metal sound. Have used it like forever and also in SH4.
Give me a  if you want it...

gday all,
yes my P09_$Gun_muzzle_flash also has some breach loading and ejecting sound...
Its been played with tho so it doesnt overtake the whole sound from a distance.
