I found a lighted US ship in 42 Jan,I went ahead and sank it,and got credit for it,but was wondering is this a bug,or did they actually do this in real life??
Pics are hard to see,but if you look close you can see the US flag..

I don't know if it is a "bug" or not, but it certinaly is historical, especialy if it was in the
western part of the atlantic. It took quite some time for American shipping to adjust to
the peril below.

Agreed. Our naval leaders refused to listen to British advice until they learned for themselves. No convoys. Lit up ships steaming in front of lit up cities. It was a mess for some time after we entered the war.

Too true!

The waters off the East coast of the US were indeed a "happy hunting ground" for Uboats during the early part of the Us' involvement in WW2.

Don't waste your eels on the long trip across the Atlantic!!!!.......plenty of well-lit, juicy tankers to hit when you arrive.
