Yesterday i was travellling for 15 days in my IXC boat and enjoyed Thomsen his sound pack and listened some music on my gramophoneplayer but what happened? i didnt get a single radiomessage in 15 days time. now is my question to other GWX 2.1 players WHAT IS YOUR EXPERIENCE WITH RADIOMESSAGES (no complains about GWX 2.1 it is FANTASTIC)

My impression is that they are less than they used to be. That is just my guess from the experience over the first week with GWX 2.1.
The amount and frequency of radio messages are fine. They seem to have achieved a nice balance. It can get pretty irritating to have to stop every 1-5 minutes & read messages that have no relationship to what's currently happening in my game.

Wreford-Brown have made a messages mod for nearly all tastes.

boneman; W_B does a nice job with the mission orders. If you want tons of messages for the game you can install RL_E over 11,000 messages. It makes an attempt to fill the message void in later war years and such. It includes all the GWX messages and then some. You can even add mission orders to it.
I am thinking however if your not getting messages perhaps your boat is at depth or perhaps your radioman is not at station?

i already have it friend THANKS!:sunny:
While on the subject...
Something I've noticed seems a bit odd. The TC seems to react (reverting to x1, or whatever you have it set up to in SH3Commander) to generic messages, but not to messages adressed specifically to me. For instance, I get dropped to 1x for all sorts of things like "SS such-n-such has picked up survivors", or "U-something-or-other has 6 torpedoes left", but if I send in a status report and get a reply (such as "good job, come home, drinks on us", etc.) the TC stays put.
Shouldn't it be the other way around?
I see one particular problem with this that may or may not be related to the drop to 1x trigger... all the messages that don't directly involve me still have my boat in the TO: line, with the actual addressee listed below. Can that be what's causing this behavior?
