help!

Just cannot uninstall SH4 + add-on. Keep getting the message that Microsoft has found a problem with setup.exe. Have tried to uninstall by using control panel (I have windows XP), SH4 disc, C.Cleaner, McAfee but no help. When I try to start the game it says that it can't find anim.act.
Have tried searching the forums but can't work it out.
Please help or else I'll be forced to see some crap on the tv with the wife!

Now it's asking for EnvSim.act! I think the best thing to do is uninstall........but it won't let me (setup.exe problem). :damn: Any suggestions?

Interesting. Would it let you reinstall the add-on without uninstalling? Try that.

no, Snaptrap. On the add-on and the SH4 dvd, install is greyed out. When I click on uninstall i get the setup.exe problem message.:cry:

Took your advice and played around with the registry and deleted everything relating to SH4 and ran CCleaner to take care of the rest. Now I have finally reinstalled.
If anybody gets bored in the Pacific, I can recomend sailing at break-neck speed in a German motor torpedo boat in the Atlantic on SH3. Very fast, very dangerous!Some guy called Mikhayl has made an excellent mod called S-boot Mod :up:
