What files do I change to make the Destroyers as good as SH3, looking to tweak a file or try to tweak it with S3D program. I have been looking around in SH4 but not sure where the right files are, thank you for any replies. In SH3 GWX 2.1 the destroyers find you more often then not. I'm finding in SH4 it's been easy to get away or go right under there destroyers with no problem. I would like to change that.

Download TMO (Trigger Maru Overhaul) and it will be more challenging.

There was also a mod named Kakemann Imporved escorts for version 1.4, if my memory serves me well. I do not know if it is compatible with 1.5, but it was very effective. Approaching a marching convoy was really hard...:dead:

It is compatible with 1.5 :up:
Don't use the stock campaign. ALL the convoy escorts are set to low-grade moron AI skill level.

more challenging is a nice way of putting it :haha:
in TMO max difficulty the Jap destroyers are deadly pests they can find ur sub even beyond 250ft deep and at some distance (with all crew in sleeping state)... they look like intel/guided bombs/missiles
a bit overkill challenge sometimes... but :rock:
the pests that annoying me most are those DDs that can't be hit by torps coz torp goes too deep :( and jump out of the water to Bang-Bang with deck gun would mean a dead tube sub :)
