i have looked around but havent been able to find this on the forums anywhere. was thinking it would be cool to have a playable elco PT in the game, i did it back in destroyer command, took a look at it in this game but its far beyond my limited abilities to make any mods. was wondering if somebody out there was working on, or could make a playable Elco PT for the game. i would be forever in their debt

well i have been building several missions that i working on putting together into a campaign called "The were expendable" only 5 missions right now but working on more. i have tried to play around wiht making a playable PT but i this game is a little beyond what i can do, all im getting is CTD

USS_Trigger go ahead man I think it's a great idea, and don't pay attention to him every time I turn around he is bagging on someones idea, or something that someone wants to add.
Well because i liked the idea i started to "try" to build an elco.
I have no modding knowledge but so far i have a elco with a conningtower on it :lol:.
Lots of work to be done and i can not garantee if i will succeed but i'm trying to.
First i got to get rid of that pesky conningtower :damn: .And thats just the beginning i'm afraid :-?.
Any ideas are welcome .

i accidentally removed the conning tower from my gato, dont know how i did it though, had to pull all the gato related files from my clean install:damn:

Looks real good, I loved the look of that ship with all the pirate-style broadside cannons, but I didn't know it was the ISE :doh:
I dont understand how people can mix fuso and the Ise..
Ise's deck is completely different compared to the Fuso, wich is almost flat IMO.. Rear deck of the Ise is on significantly lower level, compared to the bow..(I know a typo there but cant find it), and the position of 3rd and 4th turret (middle ones) actually pointed on opposite directions, with an funnel/chimney/whatever between them..
What next.. a Sevastopol class battleship with 12, 12" turrets, 8x 5" AA guns and some casket cannons? :doh:
But looking good there mate, keep it coming. :up:

Fuso, Kongo, Ise...They´re incredible warships less powerfull than YBB but most playable i think.

Well my little project is starting to get some shape :).
But i have a texture problem, my boat looks camoflaged/translucent.
I cant get here any texture:-?.Any ideas how to give her a texture guys?
I used the ingame model for the elco but when i import the model i lose all textures.:damn:
Need some work on the torpedotubes too.I can fire the torpedo's but the torpedotube gets launched too:lol:.

Look in the WIP Pocket Battleship thread. Everybody who's making surface ships is having these problems; poke around a little and you should be able to find the solution. (I'm no modder so don't ask me)

Maybe PT-109 ?
It would be cool like the S-100 from SH3 !
