Screen resolution

Hi,
I play sh3 GWX 2.1 and find the FPS terrible. It never was this bad before all the latest mods were added. What I have noticed is that when I come out of the game my screen resolution has changed to 1280x960 which might account for some of the problems. Has anything been put into a mod which would cause this change of resolution. I know very well that 1024x768 is best for me so how can I stop it from changing?

You can download the Screen Resolution Fix (http://www.ohiosellers.com/SH3/mods/) and set it to 1024x768 or whatever you want (1280x1024 is the best for 4/3-17'' monitor). Be carefull, your true screen resolution before you initiate the game has to be the same with what you set to the d3d9.cfg file!;)

Computers get crazy sometimes. Once upon a time without any fix the game kept the 1280x900 resolution of my laptop screen for some minutes! And then crashed....

Thanks Geosub, yep that was the problem. I had that fix installed and had forgotten. When I checked it was set to 1280x960, but not by me. Anyway,problem solved, thanks again.
