Unable to change Sub Skin - advice appreciated

Hi Karleun's,

I need your advice please.

I have downloaded GWX2.1, U-Boat 1.2, Water Stream and my favourite RB Exhaust smoke. The problem I am experiencing is that if i want to change the sub skin - no matter what I try, it always shows the Cobalt (dark grey) skin. It is as if one of the mods has overwritten something within the sim.

Could somebody please tell me how I disable it to allow me to change the skins.

Any advice greatly appreciated.

R u using jsgm for enebeling the mods. If u r enebel all the mods and tray the skin. Then put 1 bay 1 and tray too determen witch 1 is making the cobalt skin. And i think theat there is in the U-Boat 1.2 optional file with Cobalt skin. Cheak theat out and maybe u will find were the problem is.
Theat is if sombady dont anser how now about thise beter then me. Minvile tray thise and maybe u find the way. I hope i help just a little bit.:doh:

The sim file has nothing to do with the skins.
The skins are contained in the dat files.

Some skins come in dats that replace the dats.
depending on which sub it is?
It may overwrite some corrections made in GWX 2.1 sub dats
should it be one of the updated fixes.

If you post a link to the skin you want I'll look into it for you.

Hi Privateer,

I have managed to change my skin last night to that of a one-off U-83 skin which Wolfehunter created. Brilliant, but the inside of the turm detail is still that of the Cobalt sub (I mean where the crew stand on watch).

Do I need to replace something in the turm files to get the inside of the turm - the same colour as the outside?
