I was wondering if it was possible to reduce the "rooster tails" the wheels make? I laugh at my subs looking like my outboard powered boat. The screws are far enough below the surface that there should be little if any "surface boiling" on any of the subs or big ships, or subs. When crash diving you expect to see some surface turbulance since the props are pointing at the surface, but for normal surface running, there should mostly be foam on the surface behind the boats. It would also make it more difficult to tell if you put the engine room out of action with a well placed torpedo, or just slowed them down, and for how long.
