Manual and Engine Room

Hi guys,

Jut looking through the GWX 2.1 manual and I spotted in the change-log on page 21:

"Added the option to open the hatch between the Control Room and the Engine".

The Engineroom is modded? please say it isn't a typo :o:o

I remember someone modding additional rooms, so is it really available? :hmm:

YES, the thread (first page) say something about a open hatch between the command room and the engine room

NO, the engine room hatch is for the other side, the hatch leading to the radioroom is in the direction of the torpedo room, while the engine room is in the opposite direction

NO, that hatch was not open in any submarines after enabling the mod, I've checked.

NO, I didn't heard of anybody modelling engine rooms, that's the weird part. I don't doubt that DivingDuck could do it, but if they did it, why there's nothing on the manual? Why the suspense?

Then why is there an Open Hatch mod in the Silent Hunter mod folder? Has any one tried adding this mod by the neabler?

Guys. This mod "opens" the hatch between Command and Radio-room!

I don'T what you people do wrong, but this mod works! It adds Ladders to the Type II and opens the hatcht on the other boats!:doh:

Yes indeed. I haven't played a Type VII yet, but my Type II is now very cramped. I love it!:sunny:

Guys, I guessed it was a typo but thougt maybe I was in for a nice surprise :yep::lol::yep:

I do recall a modder working on another compartment though, I think it was the mess with a table and overhead light and storage cupboards etc., and was to be placed adjoining the radio/hydrophone rooms.

Anyone know what happened to it?

It's a typo. Sorry about that. :oops:

It should say "between the Control Room and the Radio/Hydrophone rooms and the Captain's quarters in the Type VII U-boats.
