There is no reason GWX 2.1 wont work online

I know the AOTD clan like to reduce the size of the Sea folder and use blank campaign files when playing online

Ahm.. U mean GWX 2.1 woun't work online at all or this Online mod wount work with GWX 2.1 ? :-?

GWX 2.1 works fine online. You need to have a mission that is compatible however the missions that ship with GWX are AFAIK. We ran a number of MP tests and apart from some externally created missions (i.e. not created by GWX crew), they all worked fine.

Remember: All players joining an online MP game must have EXACTLY the same mods loaded in the same order for it to work. If this is not the case then results may be unpredictable.

For the tests we ran we stuck to the base GWX 2.1 mod with NO changes to ensure compatibility.
