I Have No Idea!?!?!?!?!?

so i just got a new laptop. its a dell XPS m1530, and guess what.....It COMES WITH VISTA WOOOOHOOOO!!!!! not really : / I'm not really a big fan of vista. And this is just more fuel for the fire. I gave everything a fresh clean install. i patch sh3 with patch 1.4 and installed gwx. The game boots fine. However.... at the first loading screen (prior to displaying the game menu) it loads all the way then stops. :/ The game dosen't freeze, but the loading sequence just halts. Its like it gets to 99.9% done loading and then decides its to tired to continue. Ive NEVER had this problem before. and ive used this exact same setup on my previous laptop, which was running on windows XP. So if any of my shipmates out there could give me anything thought on this problem, I would be extremely grateful. I really do not know how much longer i can go without my daily dose of GWX. Going on without it for very much longer could make me do something.......something bad. I dont know what, but i dont want to know. :)

OT: Remembering your frustration on previous posts, GWX 2.1 contains the open hatch mods that you wanted. (We reworked the interiors... and subsequently the open hatch mods had to be adjusted to match. You've got Diving Duck to thank for that in GWX 2.1.)

Could be a memory problem. How much ram does your laptop have? Do you have any virus scans running like McAffe that hogs a lot of memory?

Sorry to here your having trouble.

The program may have loaded (99.99% some games don't go to 100%) and is now trying to load the next part to run.

Take out the opening sequence and retry.

Could be your machine wants additional software.
