i've made a new ship based on a clone of a stock ship but i canno't manage to import it's new skin , i tried datextract , pack3d , s3d the ship keeps the stock skin and if i put the new skin in the tex tnormal folder it's the opposite it's the stock ship which takes the new skin

Did you clone the new unit?
Did you rename the files?
You have a habit of posting to little information to help you.

i cloned a ship with p3d renamed all the files with the new unit name , i extracted the objects with p3d , i modified the objects i wanted to modify then i imported them back with p3d . i modified the texture imported back p3d

I know how to skin a rabbit... But a ship? :o
