Japanese Career?

I just got SHIV last weekend and I must say it fornicatingly rocks.

But...

Am I the only one who expected a Japanese campaign right out of the box? I see they have a U-boat add-on and that's all well and good, but I was looking forward to hunting down the American carriers on Dec 7, changing the tide at Midway, and fighting a desperate defense against the island hopping American war machine. Seriously.

So has anyone even asked for this yet? Discussed it? Or am I the only one in the world who wished for this?

Nobody else have ever asked about it, neither even thought about it.....

PS: Sorry for my sarcasm, couldn't resist.... :lol: Yes, it has been asked, and maybe it will happen with another add on, maybe not. Probably it depends how popular the uboat add on gets. In my opinion, 1.5 added not only uboats, but also improved some gameplay stuff. And if the devs ain't putting it up, maybe some modders will try to do it...

And, thanks, it's good to be aboard. I just got SHIV last Sunday. I got bit by a sub warfare bug and was very saddened that WinXP can't boot to DOS so I can play my old Seawolf SSN-21. :nope:
