Well here I was trying to add a copy of a ship and got a crash

Thats the crash Im getting. I think I did every rename i could possiby do:rotfl: , but maybe I missed something. Any ideas what that crash is?

I think u have to tell us what u have copied and how.
Usually u can't rename Dat files.
i.e.
u have :
NDD_Somers/NDD_Somers.dat
NDD_Somers/NDD_Somers.sim
NDD_Somers/NDD_Somers.eqp
bla bla bla

And u say:

NDD_Somers2/NDD_Somers2.dat
NDD_Somers2/NDD_Somers2.sim
NDD_Somers2/NDD_Somers2.eqp
bla bla bla

-> appcrash

I thought you did rename them when you clone a ship. I basically did a clone of the Balao class sub. From this thread here from BigBoyWooly's comment

I changed all the names and added them appropiate places. I still have a few things to finish checking out though. But if I get it to work then its rather easy way to add ships to use once a way is found to make the proper .Dat files work within the game to add new ships.

But the main problem is there is no crash file other than in windows vista itself to find out what the crash is.

SO far its about 90% of everything I found named Balao I have copied and changed the name and cloned the ID's also of the files in the Data/Submarine and Data/Objects folders also.
