It's all a metter of personal choice, personnally i prefer the "exotic wood" look to the "old oak" look. Hey, i'm worth a mahogany deck!
Yep, something more like that looks a little more realistic, but I think the mahogany-style wood with a bit of a weather-beaten look would look better than this other color of wood you've shown here.
