Medal Oddness . . . 1.5 and MODS

Just finished my second mission with this carreer in a modded 1.5 campaign and it was what I consider very successful. The time frame is Late43, I accomplished 5 missions sinking around 45,000. On return . . . . I was awarded my second Uboat Front Clasp. Nice.

I suspect a mod since in an earlier carreer things seemed to be working right. At least the Iron Cross seemed to be getting its swords and diamonds etc.

Sorry if I wasnt clear. I'm doing a German Campaign.

Bottom Line, I would have expected the Uboat Clasp first, then the Iron Cross series. So is something just stuck? Broken? Was it something I did with the order of MODs I installed? Or is there a known issues?

I did an advanced search and I found hits on a new badge mod, but nothing close to what I have seen. That doesnt mean folks have seen this and posted about it and those comments are just buried in other threads that I simply didnt find.

Just ran another mission . . . and got my first Iron Cross. So things are working OK.

I just got confused when I got two Uboat Clasps in a row.

I guess I did the missions really really good . . . . or the Commander has Alzheimers.

That's not right if you got two U-boat Clasps. The German awards system was set up so no one could recieve a particular medal more than once. It sounds to me like the devs used the American award criteria for the German ones.

i never even got the clasp. i got german cross then iron cross 1st class, war badge, nother iron cross first class and then three knights crosses in a row. no clasp no iron cross second class. i havent been running any mods until just during this last patrol ive added the PE2 mod which wouldnt effect anything.

And the U-boat Front Clasp didn't even exist until 15 May 1944, so getting two by late 1943 makes you very special, LOL! Sounds to me like the German medals awarded in SH4 are just as screwy as they are in SH3.

BTW, the Clasp is not a pre-requisite for the Iron Cross 2nd Class.

well the american campaign medals needs to be fixed the medal of honor is showing up as the purple heart
