I have noticed the draft of the Gato class is set at 6.1m on a few mods;the sub rides at 19 feet. This is incorrect. The draft of the Gato class was 17 feet, or 5.1816 m. I find 5.250m to be more accurate in game when compared to pictures taken back in the 40s.

I know the stern sticks out, the subs angle is not correct. If you adjust the f&r balance to 40fr and 60rr it looks good but the sub acts funny when you try to dive. I am assuming no one has a idea on how to fix this?

Pound your head against some of these files long enough, and you may find that sometimes the best way to achieve realistic performance, is through unrealistic numbers.

Someone did mod the draft of the different subs so they set lower in the water (slightly) in addition to reacting to the different sea states without the illusion of the sub riding on rails. I use it but can't remember the exact name but I think it's "diverateRC2."

Isn't that statement so true. Of all the little bugs this is the only one that annoys me the most.:damn:

Been adjusting the drafts again as part of the RFB update. Once the u-boats are done, will post the changes as an update to the draft and dive rate mod.

In fact, the draft for the Gato is raised from the original release. Won't be historic because the stern rides too hi with those numbers, but will look pretty good.
