I looked at it and it mentioned 3 problems having to do with mission objectives, taskforce, convoy, mercant somethings and something else.

Then there is a list of ships that were added/removed and whatnot and I really didnt see anything saying what the mod does over all. . . Please note I could be blind and may have missed it. .

I would like to know in fair detail what the mod does before I download it.

Also as a side question. When ships are added to the game are they also added to the manual? And with mods that change the size of a ship for scale reasons is that change also put in the manual? Because it would seem to me that if it isnt that would make targeting more difficult.

These are probably stupid questions but oh well, there they are. :-)

This mod is historical Japanase traffic as it happened and on the date it happened. Lurker modeled in as many of the actual ships that were part of each convoy. In doing so, there is no shooting gallery of vessels as the stock game has it. In other words, you need to hunt and logically put your boat were traffic would have been. Lurker has created new text messages for patrol assignments, etc. None of the modeled ships have been made bigger or smaller. To be honest I do not think Lurker added new ships. If so, I have never come across any.

Just what AVGWarhawk said.

If you want a shooting gallery and you want to end the war with a couple hundred thousand tons of enemy shipping sunk than this is not the mod for you. If you want something a little more realistic and challenging than I would highly recommend this. I would also recommend adding TMO to this, the torpedo problems at the beginning of the war will frustrate the crap out of you.

ok, thank you guys for the info, that answers some of my questions and I think I'll hold off on that mod as I need practic shooting ships so I dont want them less abundant.

Now as for the ships size, that was not a question referring directly to this mod but to mods in general, I apologize for not being clear enough on that.

And the adding of ships, this is what I was going on which made me think he added ships. Correct me if I'm wrong please.

Ok thank you, that clears that up. So now about my other questions.

In mods that do add this or alter ship dimentions, does it also change the information in the manual or is the data going to off?

Never really had a problem with it, and been using RSRD for quite awhile. There is a ship dimension fix by Capt Scurvy I believe because I thought the issue with the incorrect mast heights etc was with the original game and not any mods. The mods were there to correct the original problems. Happy hunting!

So are you saying that the mods that rescale the ships actually make it more accurate cause they fix mistakes that shouldnt have been there to begin with?

If so. . . sweeet! :)
