Torpedo type 95 mod 1
Propulsion:O2/steam|Speed:49/51-45 knots|Range: 12-9,0 km .
The standard torpedo of the IJN force. Steam powered, its fast but may be spotted by well trained enemy watchmen.A smaller version of the Type 93 developed for submarines. As per the Type 93, later versions had a more pointed head, giving a similar two knot increase in speed.
Torpedo type 96
Propulsion: O2/steam|Speed: 48/50 knots .|Range: 4,9 km .|Guidance: none .
This was a modified Type 95 Mod 1 torpedo developed because of troubles with the "first air vessel" in the former. Type 96 used 36% oxygen rather than pure oxygen to reduce starting problems.Steam powered Type 96 torpedoes also carry a larger warhead.

Propulsion: electric|Speed: 30 knots .|Range: 7,0 km .
The design of this torpedo was inspired by the German Navy's successful one of World War I. In 1942 production started to supplement the Type 95 torpedoes.The new electrical torpedo entering service, it is wakeless but slower than the type 95 mod 1. Many captains have reported initial trouble with them, so there might be some teething problems.

A newer and cheaper version of the Type 92 .wakeless torpedo. Its more reliable and has received the addition of the top-secret magnetic influence detonator.

Propulsion: electric .|Speed: 30 knots .|Range: 7,0 km .|Guidance: none .
A torpedo intended to be launched from the stern tube to attack pursuing escorts and, following an initial ‘offset’ course change, take either a long loop .or a circle course .
Type 92 accoustic 1 / hypotetical based on real research
Propulsion: electric|Speed: 20 knots .|Range: 7,0 km .|Guidance: acoustic homing.A passive acoustic homing torpedo, it will track the target on its own. The slow speed makes it useless against anything but merchants.

An improved version of the accoustic homing torpedo, it can track escorts as well as merchants. The torpedo starts "listening" after travelling 400m .. It is recommended to dive and silence the boat after launching.

A torpedo powered by the revolutionary kerosene, oxygen and sea water propulsion mixture, it will give you long range shots without sacrifing speed.

An accoustic torpedo less prone to be fooled by the decoys towed by British escorts.
