Hello

I am about to rename and move the three French bases to Brugge, Zeebrugge, and Oostende, and then one for AH

I am looking at the Flottilla config file, sadly it is not writen in a lat long way but in a grid and direction of facing that does not match degrees or a clock.

Has someone out there moved a flotilla? iIs there a better way than just an educated guess, load game, move again, load game until it is in the right spot, ?

Also, for facing direction, what are these numbers based upon, ?

I have the Zeebrugge and Oostende Cathedrals built,, now working on placing them in the Game.

Which flotilla cfg are you looking at ?
data\Cfg contains the flotilla cfg that will allow you to start from those bases
The start co ordinates need to be the same as the LND entries for those ports

The data\menu\Cfg\Menu flotilla cfg controls where the base is placed when looking at the start map and is a bitch to get correct
Trust me have spent many an hour on it - note position of 30th\33rd flotilla

I think he means the DeparturePointLong*, DeparturePointLat*, and Heading* coords in Flotilla.cfg.

In which case as BBW said, set the bases up in the ME and then copy the coords from the LND.mis file into Flotilla.cfg. That's what I did when building Flotilla.cfg for GWX 2.0 (or, perhaps more accurately BBW and Rubini kept sending updated coords to me, LOL!).

Hehe, we'll leave him to find out about the fun of flotillas.cfg on another day.:rotfl:
