So, the other day I was lamenting what a crappy job I did on the icon for RSM that I just had to create another better looking one (no peeks). While doing that, I thought, what the hey, if I'm gonna make the icon better, I might as well make the program better, too:arrgh!: . Fred8615 had given me some good ideas for additional functions and how to make the whole radio station creation/installation process more modular. So, in looking at Fred's suggestions and rolling it around in my noggin' for a while, I've come up with the following list of modifications:

Create an installation program with the ability to create a desktop icon
Allow for subfolders in the station folder (for modular stations like Fred's)
Revamp the "import" procedure to make the process simpler for the user. This change would do away with the need for the user to place the new station's folder in the game install and enter the radio.ini info either manually or into RSM. The new import feature would ask the user to tell it which folder contains the new station to be added to the game install and would create the new folder necessary in the game and copy all files into it. It would also look for a special text file that the creator of the station could provide that would automatically enter the radio.ini info for the station (i.e. frequency, location, start and end dates, etc)
Create a new "merge" function that would allow the user to merge two existing stations or merge a new station that is being imported into an existing station. This feature would be especially helpful for "add-ons" to radio stations. If anyone has any ideas for functionality that isn't in the program or in the planned modifications, please post your ideas here.

Hey DT, long time no see... finally gave up on Vista and installed XP on my machine. Hopefully now I can run all the good stuff without all the crashes I was having before:up: Looking forward to this and I'm going to grab your earlier version until then. :arrgh!:
