A problem I'm having, and that I had to a lesser extent in Sub Command in the mission where you were to launch a TLAM strike against a terrorist training camp, is that map coordinates for a TLAM or LAM strike are, to put it mildly, unsatisfactory. The coordinates cover far too large an area for an accurate strike and, being hundreds of miles away, there is no way you can visually confirm the locations of your targets. Any suggestions for this problem?

You could always check to see if you hit the target after the mission is over. Another option would be having a scripted reconasance plane fly high over the area. If you are radio linked to the plane, you should see the dead target if it's within range for the plane to pick up. You could also turn on "Show Dead Platforms" but I'm not sure this works for land targets. :hmm:
I'd imagine most of those naval vessels, especially subs don't actually know if they really hit the target or not until a spy satelite or plane takes a picture of the damage from the attack.

It's out of the player's hands, really.
The mission desisgner has to either ensure that the placement of the targets are right on top of the coordinates so that the player can enter them in manually, or the designer must provide a solution for the prescise location using a script.
