Unit camara

I enjoy the TM mod for 1.5, but I also miss the abiltiy to have the camara look at the units in the game. I miss being able to check out my sub when i am on a long patrol. Is there away to see the units?

M'kay, (guess i was too subtle) from the mods FAQ:


11.) How do i get the next/ previous camera back?

The easiest way is to open the /data/cfg/commands.cfg in TMO. Search for " [Cmd50] " Your looking for these two blocks:

Name=Camera_on_next_unit
Ctxt=1
;Key0=0xBE,,">"
Page=0x34000000,3714

[Cmd51]
Name=Camera_on_prev_unit
Ctxt=1
;Key0=0xBC,,"<"
Page=0x34000000,3714

Simply remove the semicolon placed in front of the key assignment, and you have the next/previous cameras back.



That puts your hotkeys back.

Not the fix i was asking about, but it works. just wish i could lock the camara on my boat while it was submerged so i cuold view it without having to chase it.

Don't get me wrong. I love the tweaks that this mod offers. I enjoy the more reality of the game.

The next/ previous unit cam does do that. As much as ive "locked" it away, ive acutally improved it. its a free cam that follows the unit. As opposed to a sphereical view. Next time you press the < or > keys, use the cursor keys to zoom in closer or move the camera around. If you wanted to, you could park that camera right under the deck gun and watch the water come up as you dive.
