Yes you got it.

We know the Mirror Earth was also shattered from the u-genetics war and WW3 and we know from Enterprise the first contact was not a hand shack but the killing of the Vulcan's and stealing there technology which gave rise to the expansion of the Empire.

How did the Empire come about?

Did one single nation conquer all?

This furry critter speaks the truth.

What happened to Babylon 1, 2, 3, and 4??:hmm:

They were previous space stations before Babylon 5, if i remember correctly the early episodes cover most of what hapened to them and some action even takes place on Babylon 4 in some episodes.

Babylon 5 is the best. Shadow Wars hehehe. I always entertained by Londo and G'kar hehehe. Those two cracked me up. First season was alittle cheezy.:yep: But after that sit down and buckle your seatbelt for the ride of your life.:p

B5 at its time was was a new marvel to CGI technologies. First real show that earth wasn't the centre of attentions. I like that touch.

I always like startrek but when Gene passed away politics took over startrek and ruin it.

B5 Was Awesome....I found Farscape after this and was amazed and compare the two...both different and unique...great shows.I love this Star Trek episode my dad got me into Star Trek as a kid.I'll have to find and watch this episode again.Season 4 of B5 was the best I think and am waiting for Netflix to get the final season of Farscape in so I can finish the series again.

I tried watching the new OZ series on Sci-Fi but lost interest in it....I think I need to check out Stargate or SG1 or something or SG Atlantis...haven't seen any of those...I'm always a few yrs behind a good series it seems. :)

To me if it is not Firefly it is just something to watch until Firefly comes back on.

Man I miss that series

I watched that series..."Firefly"..it is available on Netflix...because of watching the movie Serenity...I liked the movie and enjoyed the mini-series very much too....That, like Farscape, was a travesty it was canceled because of some knuckle head pencil pusher who does not know good sci-fi if it is in they're lap...:know:

If you want to see a complete ripoff of the classic sub film the "Enemy Below" watch the classic Star Trek Episode "Balance of Terror"

You can watch it now for free now from CBS at this link (http://www.cbs.com/classics/star_trek/video/video.php?cid=619493214&pid=4WCY_KBaeHw8FzW7Usdy01inaxvMhl4g&play=true&cc=0) (only available to US users )

Star Trek would of course return to the sub warfare feel in that "battle of the superhams" "Star Trek II the Wrath of Khaaaan"

Yeah....I always loved that battle scene with the Enterprise and Reliant. Pointblank warfare in the 23rd Century. :p

Registered browncoat here; Firefly rules the roost, with the entire B5 a very close second.

J. Michael Straczinski, creator of Babylon 5, was writing Spider-Man for some time, and in one of his early issues he has spidey crawling along the ceiling, while below him two techies are talking:

"You watch Babylon 5? What kind of crap is that? I mean, something that happens in season one doesn't make any sense until season three? What's that all about?":rotfl:

Doctor Who and Battlestar Galactica are the only two things worth watching right now. Sadly, one is ending and the other is a bit too tongue-in-cheek these days.

Absolutly Firefly the series, i've watched it so many times and there's always more nuggets in the script to find.

oh I forgot to add one classic space TV show that was canned years ago.

Space Above and Beyond. One of the most expensive made and high quality shows of its time.

Man I never knew why fox trashed the show. It rocked and was funny.

If you enjoyed Babylon 5, you have to see this video for "Five Years" by Tom Smith.
"Five Years" is a parody of "One Week" by Barenaked Ladies.
http://www.tomsmithonline.com/freestuff/viddio/b5-5y.mpg
If you have not seen Babylon 5, the video covers all 5 seasons in 3 minutes.
To help you undestand it here are the annotated lyrics.
http://www.tomsmithonline.com/lyrics/five_years_annot.htm

For the Firefly fans, Tom Smith has a parody of "I got High", called "I'm on Firefly"

I don't think it gets any better than Zardoz for my money.

Sean Connery put in an amazing performance as Zed.

Another icon of macho shot to hell...

Sean Connery wearing some BDSM style outfit of thigh boots and a red diaper with matching bandoliers.

It's hard for me to pick a favorite sci-fi show simply because I love sci-fi in general! Very few stand out in my mind as being of 'literary' quality but "The Martian Chronicles", "Firefly", and "Babylon 5" are very well done.

I liked the classic Battlestar Galactica better than this soap opera hell-hole they've got on Sci-Fi Channel. The classic BSG had a sense of adventure to it that is sorely lacking in the new one. It's very telling indeed when fans got far more excited over the BSG Razor Flashback shorts for the classic Cylons than their excitement over the Razor movie debut itself.

Shows like Lexx might be "drek", but it didn't pretend to be anything other than that. Good ol' pulp-rag sci-fi with a smokin' hot babe at its best. The original "Tales From a Parallel Universe" mini-series that led to the Lexx series was much better.

At least that one had the saving grace of a softer, blonder Xev (Eva Habermann);)
