Need advice/help, on type XXI forward dive planes

Working on a mod,,learnign as I go, the XXI file is good to work from as all the parts are in one file,

The forward dive planes though are giving me a moment of frustration. In game, they rotate out 90 degrees and then function.

I need them already in the folded out position and ready to operate,

is there a part of code in the SIM file or somewhere else that would set them to the folded out position, and operate like a normal fixed dive plane??

why do you want them to be extended all the time? they were designed to be hidden in the boats body when on surface....

I don't work on subs much.
I don't remember seeing an animation chunk for the planes.
:hmm:
perhaps there is a controller that shows them folded on surface
unfolded underwater?

I'll look a bit closer at this and see what I find unless someone beats me to it.
