After some modders demands i'm thinking to model this great vessel, using UBOAT234 QM base, with others part. :yep:
For who is interested, ss Normandie and american carriers will follow this work, i think. :hmm:

For now the work is only started, i know there are a lot of things to change: bow, stackers, bridge, a lot of parts non in this preview like lifeboats and pipes...

I think, that all would be thank you for Empress of Britain. If you wish made Normandie I hope that you can made and this ship. What is you wish made aircraft carriers US?

Excellent work. One question - how about using the funnels from the victory ship or the liberty ship? They are a better shape and do not need to be texture-remapped if they are used on the liner.

Can I beta test? I would like to try some skins on her (maybe grey or splotch camo).

Also, that is truly excellent work. It takes a lot of work to model an actual ship, especially a liner...

Here are some new skins that I am working on for the ship - let me know if you want them. Most of them are fictional schemes for if the ship had survived longer into the war. They're sawtooth camo #1, sawtooth #2, two-tone, and the default Canadian Pacific Steamships Ltd. scheme. When sunk, she was in an overall gray paint scheme due to the war; I already created this scheme but I accidentally overwrote it. I will try to make it again.

Note to VonDos: I added screenshots of the latest version of the civilian skin. The RAR file also includes the grey overall scheme.

Also, will there be armament on the final version? She was armed on her last trip (although I don't know what kind of guns they used).

It's a very similar sawtooth camo, yes - mainly because sawtooth is so easy to create. "Leopard Camo" like the style that was used on the "USS Juneau" is fairly easy but it's time consuming. Splotch camo often comes out looking awful when I try to do it. I downloaded an automatic camoflage generator that has made it a little easier for me, but it's still iffy.
