will mods require patch1.5 (uboat)?

now that the expansion is out which upgrades SH4 to 1.5 will all mods use 1.5 or will they still be compatible with SH4 1.4?

reason bein that id rather hold off buyin the expansion for a month or 2

Read the text files that comes with the MOD.
It should say which version it is made for.

I think the question is more like, "does patch 1.5 require mods?"
