Renown in GWX 2.0

I recently installed GWX 2.0 on a fresh SHIII, created a new captain, and went through the academy. After surviving the now hellishly difficult AA Flak training with an excellent rating, and sending all ships (including escorts) to the briney deep in the convoy engagement, I'm ready to start my new career.

However, I do not seem to have been awarded with renown at the outset of my first patrol. I know that in stock SHIII you got bonus renown for completing the tests. Has this been removed in GWX 2.0?

How much renown did you have when you reported to your Flotilla? GWX should have given you 1500 renown regardless of whether you finished (or even attempted) the training missions.

Regardless, GWX 2.0 is only assigning the player 500 Renown when starting a new career. I know because it irks me when I can't fully man my boat.

EDIT - Using SH3 Cmdr, if that makes a difference.

OK, it's not in the manual...

Yet.... :D

I don't recall SH3 Commander having that effect - it didn't have it when I used it.

Something does Paublo and I have the same 500; I just take my boat on a shakedown cruise and the go to the config files and give myself enough to get what I want.
